The 53rd Annual Dove Award Nominations were announced August 10, 2022 and John Mathis Jr was honored to be a part of two of those.
“Not One Word”, written by John Mathis Jr, Jeff Steele and Brad Steele and recorded by The Collingsworth Family received a Dove Award Nomination for Southern Gospel Recorded Song of the Year.
The song is on the ‘Just Sing!’ album and DVD by The Collingsworth Family, produced by Bradley Knight, and released by Gaither Music. The ‘Just Sing!’ album also received a Dove Award Nomination for Southern Gospel Album of the Year.
“Not One Word” was a radio release and Top 10 charting song for The Collingsworth Family and is also being released in print and chorale form later this year by two chorale music companies.
