The Steeles latest EP, ‘Be The Reason’, was released on Stowtown Records in February and is available on all digital outlets. The title cut for the EP was written by Jeff Steele, Brad Steele and John Mathis Jr. This is the third time this trio of songwriters has joined together co-write a song. Their previous compositions yielded a Christmas release by The Steeles (“Christmas More Than Ever”) and a Dove Nomination with The Collingsworth Family recording of “Not One Word”.
“Be The Reason” was born from reading a quote circulating on social media that simply encouraged readers to “be the reason” that day that someone was encouraged or inspired or even decided to smile. ‘Be The Reason’ was produced by Dove Award winning producer, Wayne Haun.
