Avid Group Publishing/BMI, the music publishing catalog of John Mathis Jr., has made the move to Koze Music. A new publishing admin and sync representation agreement was signed on May 9th, 2022.
John Jr shared this about the new move, “It’s been great to see songs placed in documentaries, film, TV and commercials in the past few years, but I believe Koze Music can really tap into the potential of the Avid catalog even more for sync placements. I’m looking forward to seeing what the next few years hold!”
The Avid catalog contains over 100 copyrights of Country Johnny Mathis (John’s father), with some of those songs having been recorded by artists such as Charley Pride, Johnny Paycheck, Jim Lauderdale, Brad Davis and others. The catalog also is home to the Christian music/Southern Gospel copyrights of John Jr with songs such as “Not One Word”, “God Still Delivers”, “Amazing Day, Amazing Grace” and the recent “Christmas More Than Ever” as well as Spanish language copyrights.
The vintage recordings by Country Johnny Mathis have been placed in TV programs like CBS’s ‘Young Sheldon’ and in commercials such as the Michelob ULTRA ’19th Hole’ campaign (ESPN, The Golf Channel, TBS and other networks).

Avid Group Publishing/BMI, el catálogo de publicación de música de John Mathis Jr., se cambió a Koze Music. El 9 de mayo de 2022 se firmó un nuevo acuerdo de administración de publicación y representación de sincronización.
John Jr compartió esto sobre el nuevo acuerdo: “Ha sido genial ver canciones colocadas en documentales, películas, televisión y comerciales en los últimos años, pero creo que Koze Music realmente puede elevar el nivel de éxito del catálogo de Avid aún más para colocada de sincronización. ¡Espero ver lo que nos deparan los próximos años!”
